Pests We Treat Photo Album: Large Ant Colony Behind the Shower in Hightstown, NJ
While servicing one of our elderly communities in Hightstown, NJ, I received a complaint of a large number of ants in a bathroom.
Near the Shower
Upon inspecting the unit, I observed a small ant trial leading to a crevice next to the shower pan in the bathroom.
Ants Emerged
I followed them to their entry point and applied an ant gel bait. Within a few moments, a massive ant colony began to emerge!
That's a lot of Ants
This was one massive ant colony! After treating several other crevices with the gel bait, I then injected a residual aerosol application deep into the crevice via an injection tube, which will rapidly eliminate the colony.
Baiting the Exterior
I then treated the exterior of the property with a granular bait. Once the ants come in contact with the bait, they will bring it back to their colony and share it with one another, including their queen. Shortly after, the ants are exterminated.
