Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Raccoons Destroy the Gable Vent, We Replace it in Sea Girt, NJ
After safely retrieving and relocating a raccoon that had infested this homeowner's attic in Sea Girt, NJ, we're going to replace the gable vent it destroyed.
Damaged Gable Vent
As you can see, the gable vent is in bad shape. If it's not replaced ASAP, the homeowner will continue to have problems with raccoons, as well as with birds, squirrels, and pests! So we removed the broken gable vent and disinfected the attic area.
Louvered Vent Guard
Next, we replaced it with a louvered vent guard. This material is made out of heavy-duty Galvannealed steel (which means it won't rust) and is customized to accommodate vents of all shapes and sizes.
