Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Raccoons Utilize Old Chimney to Invade Home in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ

This homeowner in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ suspected that he might have a raccoon in his attic and wanted Cowleys to come out and inspect.

Old Chimney

Here's How

I found a large gap under the area as well as raccoon hair. This is the main access point and how the raccoon was able to enter the attic.

An Effective Set-Up

I sealed off the entire bottom portion of the chimney with Dig Defence®, placed several baited traps nearby, and set-up a one-way device over the main access point.

Only One-Way Out

The one-way will allow the raccoon to safely leave the area, but prevent it from getting back in.

Retrieving the Raccoons

Once I retrieve the raccoon, I'll seal up the area, disinfect the attic, and relocate the raccoon to a new, humane environment.
