Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Safely Removing Raccoons in Tinton Falls, NJ
A raccoon tore a hole in the siding of this home in Tinton Falls, NJ
Pretty Easy to Find
As soon as I began inspecting, it was fairly easy to spot where the raccoon was entering.
Behind the Siding
Due to extreme winds, a small portion of the siding came off and behind it was nothing but particle board. Particle board is no trouble at all for a raccoon to rip apart and enter a home.
A Unique Set Up
Due to the location of the access point, I needed to think outside the box. So I installed a nose cone in front of the access point, placed a baited trap underneath it and enclosed the area with hardware cloth.
How It Works
The nose cone will guide the raccoon safely into the device. I also placed a baited trap nearby.
Once It's Safely Caught
Once the raccoon is safely caught, I'll relocate it to a humane location, sanitize the attic area and install sturdy metal flashing over the access point to prevent future intrusions from any nuisance wildlife.
