Chewed Their Way In
While inspecting the rooftop, we noticed that the gable vent was damaged and chewed through and there was more damage to the siding in the soffit area.
Oh and The Attic Fan Too
As we continued our inspection, we also discovered that the attic fans were damaged as well. As we inspected the attic we found squirrel feces.
Close it Off
We temporarily sealed off the gable vent and attached a one-way device to it. The one-way safely allows the squirrels to exit, but prevents them from getting back in.

We also placed several baited traps nearby.

Lastly, since the homeowner replaced their attic fans, we placed a Roof VentGuard over each one.
Prevent Them
This will prevent any nuisance wildlife from entering the home via the attic fan. Once all the squirrels are safely removed, we'll disinfect the attic and replace the gable vent with new, sturdy material.
