Pests We Treat - Paper Wasp Nest Removal in Spring Lake, NJ

One of Cowleys long-time customers in Spring Lake, NJ called our office complaining of wasps in her backyard. When we inspected, we discovered that paper wasps had built their nest on the underside of one of the steps on the porch leading to the side door of the home. Anyone using these steps would certainly be stung when passing directly over the nest.

Paper wasps get their common name from the paper-like material out of which they make their nests. They are sometimes called umbrella wasps, after the shape of their distinctive nests. Paper wasp stings can be very painful and can cause the same risk of allergic reaction as other insect stings.
