Pests We Treat - Carpenter Ants Invade a Veterinarian Hospital in Freehold, NJ
We went out on a service call for one of our commercial clients, a veterinarian hospital in Freehold, NJ. The building supervisor noticed a large number of ants invading a number of offices and waiting areas. As we inspected we found carpenter ants trailing along a window in the waiting room. Carpenter ants get their name from their nest building, where they will excavate the wood and form smooth tunnels inside of the wood. Unlike termites, they do not eat wood, but tunnel and chew through wood to create nests.
