Pests We Treat - Pavement Ants Underneath Living Room Carpet in Neptune, NJ

Here we are at a home in Neptune, NJ. The homeowner contacted Cowleys after finding pavement ants in his living room. As I inspected the living room, I noticed a few dirt mounds piled up in front of the screen door. After I vacuumed up the dirt mounds, I pulled back the carpet and found a MASSIVE pavement ant infestation. Pavement ants are little dark brown to black colored ants that enter a home through cracks in slabs or other openings. They often enter buildings through expansion joints in slabs.

Needless to say, this home will need intensive treatment! I applied a liquid application along the entire exterior of the home and along the ant trail underneath the carpet in the living room. The ants will come in contact with this product, carry it back to their colony, and in a short amount of time, the ants will be eliminated. I scheduled a follow-up inspection to monitor the infestation.
