Found This While Inspecting
During our exterior inspection of the property, we came across a crawl space vent that was old and exposed. So we took a closer look...
Hair of the Mouse
...and found mice droppings and their hair around the vent. This was how the mice were able to infest the home!
Gap on the Side
There was also an opening on the side of the crawl space vent too. We informed the owner and he mentioned that, once the mice are gone, he's going to hire a contractor to replace the vent and seal that opening.
Rodent Bait Stations
In the meantime, we installed several rodent bait stations throughout the crawl space, by the crawl space vent, and along the exterior of the home. Once we finished, we scheduled several follow up inspections to monitor the rodent activity, replenish the bait in the bait stations as needed, and properly seal up any and all exposed openings and gaps around the exterior of the home.
