Severe Infestation
Here's where the bed bugs were found. As you can see, the infestation was pretty bad.
Not Just Here
Continuing our inspection, we found bed bugs not only in the mattress but in the bed frame, end table, the spare bedroom, and in the dresser!
First Vacuum
We began vacuuming all of the mattress as well as all crack and crevices where the bed bugs were seen. For good measure, we also vacuumed all of the gaps, cracks, and crevices throughout the entire home. Once we finished, we carefully wrapped the bed, the bed frame, and the dresser and disposed of them.
Two Residual Treatments
Next, we treated every outlet throughout the home with a residual dusting product and then applied a liquid application to all of the areas where the bed bugs may potentially be harboring. Both of these treatments will exterminate the bed bugs and their eggs as well.
One Last Thing
Lastly, at the owners request, we installed a mattress and box spring encasement on all the beds in the home and scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and, if needed, apply any additional treatments.
