Spotted Lanternfly Nymphs
While inspecting the property, I noticed these tiny, black pests underneath the handrail of a set of steps. A closer inspection revealed that these were Spotted Lanternfly eggs and nymphs!
Deadly to Trees
Spotted Lanternflies are an invasive species that threaten the life of trees by laying eggs and secreting a fluid that eventually creates a fungus infecting the tree.

Quick Elimination and Inform Management
I treated the eggs and the nymphs with a residual aerosol, which will rapidly exterminate them. Afterward, I informed the property manager what I found and to keep a close eye on their property for these invasive pests.
