Termite Mud Tubes
Once I inspected the basement, I found several termite mud tubes. These tubes are used by termites to protect them from light exposure when traveling from a food source to their colony.
Eliminating The Citronella Ants First
I treated the entire basement with a non-repellant residual that the citronella ants will come in contact with and transfer among the other ants in the colony as well as the reproductive queen. Soon after, they are eliminated.
Now for the Termites
Next I turned my attention to the termites and injected a liquid termiticide along the entire exterior of the home. This product forms a protective barrier that is undetectable to the termites. Once they come in contact with it and transfer it among the colony, they are eliminated. This treatment guarantees years of protection from further termite infestations.
