Pests We Treat Photo Album: German Cockroaches Infest Apartment in Neptune, NJ
While performing a routine monthly inspection in an apartment complex in Neptune, NJ I discovered a tremendous infestation of German cockroaches.
Saw a Huge Infestation
As soon as I entered the kitchen, I saw German cockroaches scurrying across the floor. Since cockroaches are primarily nocturnal, if you see them during the day, chances are, you have an infestation.
The Neighbors Problem
Now this infested unit wasn't reported to the maintenance office from the current tenant, but his neighbor. Why? Because she saw a few cockroaches in her kitchen! The infestation was so out of hand that it was becoming the neighbors problem!
Never Reported
Sometimes the biggest problem is when tenants don't report these kind of pest issues immediately. This creates bigger problems as cockroaches can carry a plethora of bacteria and diseases into your home.
Well, Let's Get Started
First, I disposed of all perishable items that were contaminated and then applied a non repellent liquid product along the baseboards, cabinets, behind and under refrigerator, stove and furniture.
Flushed Them Right Out
Next, I applied an aerosol flushing agent to all cracks and voids to force these nasty cockroaches to come out and come in contact with the previous application, which will eliminate the cockroaches almost immediately.
Go Nextdoor
I repeated the same process to the adjacent apartments as well. When it comes to heavy infestations, it's imperative that I schedule several follow up visits to guarantee that the cockroaches are gone for good.
