Pests We Treat Photo Album: Aggressive Elimination of German Cockroaches in Hamilton, NJ
This tenant, despite using several do-it-yourself pest treatments, was suffering from a rather large infestation of German cockroaches!
All Over the Kitchen
When we arrived, it wasn't hard to locate the infestation as the German cockroaches were all over the kitchen in plain sight!
Brought in Via a Microwave
The tenant told us that the infestation occurred around the same time she purchased a microwave from a yard sale. Believe it or not, pre-owned electronics are excellent hiding places for cockroaches, because they love harboring in these warm devices. Always do your due diligence and thoroughly inspect all pre-owned electronics BEFORE purchasing.
A Unique Solution
We aggressively treated these cockroaches with a liquid solution mixed with a growth regulator that affects their ability to reproduce.
Fast Breeders
German cockroaches left untreated can quickly grow in numbers because of their ability to reproduce quickly. An egg capsule from a female can produce 25-30 nymphs at a time and they can mature to adults in as little as two months! These cockroaches will embed themselves in a kitchen, getting into cracks and crevices in appliances were it's warm
Flush Them Out
We then used an aerosol flusher to chase them out of their hidings spots and into the growth regulator.
Can't Reproduce
The growth regulator prevents the cockroaches from molting to their reproduction stage and their numbers are drastically reduced.
Last Part
We then treated all the cracks and crevices with a gel bait and placed glue traps throughout the home to monitor the infestation. In no time at all, the cockroaches will be eliminated.
