During a routine Commercial Protection Plan service for a property in Rumson, NJ I saw a dormant hornets' nest in a tree behind the property.
Gone Unnoticed
No one had noticed the hornets nest because it was high up in a tree behind the leaf canopy. There was no activity in the nest, meaning that it was dormant.
Take it Down
I brought this to the owner's attention and she asked me to remove the nest.
Cut it Down
Using my extendable pole, I was able to reach the nest, carefully remove it, and then disposed of it properly.
One Last Look
Afterwards, I inspected the entire property to find any other pest issues. Fortunately, there was none.
