Pests We Treat Photo Album: Termites Destroy Homeowners Stoop in Little Silver, NJ
Recently, I went out on a service call for a homeowner in Little Silver, NJ who was having an issue with termites.
In Order to Treat the Termites
For an effective treatment, I must drill into the concrete and inject a liquid application into the ground so that the termites will come into contact with the product.
From the Front Stoop to the Garage
I drilled holes into the stoop to treat the soil beneath it as well as drilled the garage floor on all three walls.
Space Them Out
When drilling, it's imperative that I space the holes at least 15-18 inches apart. This ensures that the liquid application has room to spread out and increases the chance that the termites will walk through the application.
Now for the Liquid Treatment
Once I finished the drilling, I injected a liquid application into the slab. This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect. Termites will either ingest the application or come in contact with it as they go about their normal routines.
