Pests We Treat Photo Album: Mice Keeping Warm in the Attic in Woodbridge, NJ
The attic of this home in Woodbridge, NJ was heavily infested with mice.
Left Us Some Presents
There was a lot of mice droppings throughout the attic and the insulation was saturated with their urine.
Plenty of Mice Tunnels
There were also a lot of mice tunnels throughout the insulation. Mice can create holes and tunnels in insulation to build nests. These tunnels can compromise insulation's effectiveness and create pathways for mice to move around the home.
Traveling to the Lower Levels
We also found an number of wide openings around wires and can lights in the attic. The mice were squeezing through these openings to infest other areas of the home.
Multiple Bait Stations
We set up several rodent bait stations throughout the attic, several rooms in the lower floor, and around the exterior of the property.
Attic Team Will Come Out
We then scheduled several follow up visits to monitor the mice activity, replenish the bait in the rodent bait stations, and seal up any openings around and inside of the home that the mice are using to infest the property. Once all the mice are gone, our Attic Systems team will come out, remove all of the contaminated insulation, and add TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation.
