Termites Poking Through the Kitchen Ceiling in Manalapan, NJ
Challenge
Recently, we were sent out to a home in Manalapan, NJ to treat for termites. The infestation was located in the kitchen. How did we know? Because there was a termite mud tube poking through the ceiling! Mud tubes protect the termites from the exterior elements and are created by the worker termites.
Solution
For treatment, we injected a foaming termiticide into the kitchen ceiling. Next, with the owner's permission, we drilled into the concrete surrounding the home and injected a liquid version of the termiticide into the abutting garage slab as well as around the exterior foundation of the property.
Both versions of the termiticide will bind to the treated areas and create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. As they go about their business, the termites will come in contact with this treatment, bring it back to their nest, and then transfer it throughout their colony. In a short amount of time, the termites will be eiliminated and the termiticide will keep the home safe from termites for many years!
