Ant Infestation Found Along the Foundation in Bradley Beach, NJ
Challenge
During an initial treatment for a new customers home in Bradley Beach, NJ we found a large number of ants crawling on the left side of the home. After a thorough inspection we discovered that the ants were harboring in the mulch bed that was bordering the home. Believe it or not, mulch is an ideal hiding place for ants because it’s moist and goes undisturbed for long periods of time. The deeper the mulch, the more likely it is to serve as a hotbed for ants, as well many other pests.
Solution
For treatment, we applied a granular bait throughout the mulch beds and the grassy areas around the property. Next, we treated the entire exterior of the home with a liquid non-repellant application. Once the worker ants come in contact with either of these products, they'll return to their colony & unknowingly share these treatments throughout their nest. A short while later, the ants are exterminated.
