Large Termite Infestation Found in New Addition in Raritan, NJ

Challenge

This customer was in the middle of renovating his garage when he noticed something that made his heart skip a beat - an active termite infestation! Since his neighbor was a customer of ours, he got our contact info and gave us a call. We were sent out ASAP to inspect and treat. 

Within minutes of our inspection, we found active termites in several wooden doorframes throughout the area. Termites are known as "silent destroyers" and cause over 5 billion dollars in property damages each year. What's even worse, since the damage done by termites is considered preventable, it isn't covered by homeowners insurance!

Solution

For an effective treatment, since termites live beneath ground level, we must drill into the concrete in the garage and around the perimeter of the home. Next, we injected a liquid termiticide in the garage and around the exterior perimeter of the home. This application binds to the treated area and creates a protective zone that the termites cannot detect. The termites will come in contact with this treatment as they go about their normal routine, bring it back to their nest, and spread it among the colony. In a short amount of time, the termites will be exterminated and the home will be protected from termites for many years to come.
