Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Solar Panels Are Protected From Sparrows in Montgomery, NJ
Sparrows were roosting underneath the solar panels of this home in Montgomery, NJ.
Completely Unprotected
Since the area underneath the solar panels was wide open, the sparrows were using the solar panels as a natural cover and protection from the elements.
Sparrow Poop Everywhere
As a result of this, the roof and the solar panels were covered with their poop! The first thing did was carefully remove all the nesting debris underneath the solar panels. Afterward, we then disinfected the areas with a solution that targets bird mites, which are parasites that feed on the blood of birds and are the main reason why extreme care is needed when removing a birds nest.
Excluded the Solar Panels
Once we finished, we installed our solar panel exclusion kit around the entire perimeter of the solar panels.
A Strong Physical Barrier
This kit creates a physical barrier to keep the sparrows, as well as all nuisance birds and wildlife, from accessing and nesting in the area beneath the solar arrays.
Protects it From All Nuisance Birds & Wildlife
This will protect the equipment from getting damage. With nowhere to nest, the sparrows will no longer be attracted to the home and the solar panels will be protected from further intrusions from all types of birds and nuisance wildlife.
