Installing An Effective Deterrent
To stop the nuisance birds from roosting and defecating all over the roof, we're installing shock track.
A Little Shock
The unique electrically charged tracks impart a mild electrical shock when the nuisance birds land on them.
No Harm Comes to Them
The shock will not harm the nuisance birds but will condition them to avoid the area.
No Screws Needed
The shock track gets affixed to roof with no screws...
Solar-Powered Charger
...and is connected to a solar-powered charger.
Another Deterrent
Once we finished installing shock track, we installed Dadi Long Legs on the chimney and the exhaust pipe.
Dadi Long Legs Do What?
The Dadi Long Legs will startle the nuisance birds and prevent them from roosting on the roof. This is considered a physical barrier deterrent, which is the most effective long-term solution and most importantly, doesn't harm the nuisance birds.
