Carpenter Ants Nest Underneath a Bathtub in Ocean Township, NJ
A customer in Ocean Township, NJ called Cowleys complaining of carpenter ants in their bathroom. Carpenter ants remove wood shavings constructing a safe place for their queen and colony. They build their nests inside wood consisting of galleries chewed out with their mandibles, preferably in dead, damp wood. These nests can incredibly weaken wooden structures causing them to collapse.
