Photo Album: Mud Tube from Termites Found by the Back Door in Skillman, NJ
We were sent out on a service call to Martinsville, NJ to treat for termites.
By the Sliding Glass Door
There was termite mud tubing on the outside foundation in the back by the rear sliding door. Termites build these mud tubes in order to travel safely from their nest to a food source.
Keep Them Spaced Out
We made sure to space the injection holes at least 18 to 20 inches apart. That way, the treatment we're about to inject has enough room to spread out.
The Termiticide
Once we finished, we injected a liquid termiticide into all the drill holes and around the entire exterior of the home. The termiticide will bind to the treated areas and create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. The termites will go about their business and come in contact with it.
Sharing Their Doom
As the termites return to their nest, they're going to transfer the termiticide throughout their colony. In a short amount of time, the termites will be exterminated!
