Photo Album: Fence Attacked by Carpenter Bees in Forked River, NJ
These carpenter bees were destroying this customer's fence in Forked River NJ
One of These is Not Like the Other's
As we inspected the fence, we spotted a drill hole made by a carpenter bee!
Interesting Fact
An interesting fact about carpenter bees is that they drill perfectly circular 1/2 holes in wooden structures to create galleries. If you look closely, you can see the pile of sawdust, which is called "frass," in and underneath the drill hole.
Yellow Stains from Carpenter Bees
Those yellow stains are actually excrement from the carpenter bees!
Time to Eliminate the Carpenter Bees
For treatment, we injected a residual dusting application into each one of the drill holes. This treatment will eliminate the carpenter bees as well as leave behind a residual that will exterminate any returning and newly hatched carpenter bees in the galleries.
