Boxelder Bugs Around the Home
As we began our inspection, we found a massive amount of box elder bugs around the cracks and crevices of the home.
What Are Boxelder Bugs Exactly?
Boxelder bugs are overwintering insects that have reddish-orange markings on their backs. Boxelder bugs are not solitary bugs, in fact, they exist in large, gregarious groups. They hibernate together during the winter and in the spring, or when the temperature outside increases, females that have successfully overwintered, emerge and begin to forage for food.
Flush Them Out
First, we're going to treat every single crack and crevice around the entire foundation of the home with a knockdown aerosol application. This product is going to flush the boxelder bugs out of hiding and exterminate them quickly.
Another Treatment for Boxelder Bugs
