Photo Album: Mice Squeeze Through the Gaps Around Exhaust Vent in Somerville, NJ
We're returning for a follow up visit at this home in Somerville, NJ, to check on the mice infestation.
Openings Around the Exhaust Vents
Surrounding the home were several exhaust vents that had a tiny gap around them. This was how the mice were able to infest the home.
Bigger Than Others
Some of the gaps were larger than others. All a mouse needs to enter a home or business is an opening the width of a pencil.
Refill the Bait & Stuff the Openings
First, we replenished all the bait in all the rodent bait stations around the exterior and throughout the interior of the home. Afterward, we stuffed each opening with chew-proof Xcluder® Fill Fabric. This material will form a firm and tight barrier to keep the mice out.
The Adhesive
Afterward, we sealed the Xcluder® Fill Fabric in place with a premium, waterproof adhesive. Once we finished, we scheduled several follow up visits to continue to monitor the bait stations and replenish the bait until the mice are no longer infesting the home.
