Photo Album: How the Mice Were Infesting this Home in Hopewell, NJ
After a full inspection, here's how the mice were able to infest this home in Hopewell, NJ.
Gaps Around Several Pipes
As we inspected the exterior of the home, we found mice droppings underneath several utility pipes. We took a closer look and noticed that there was a large gap around each of the utility pipes.
Chewed Up the Vents
There was also evidence of mice around the crawl space vents. Several even had chew marks on the hardware cloth. Remember, mice only need an opening the width of pencil to infest a home or business.
Setting Up Our Bait Stations
After we cleaned up all the mice droppings, we installed several exterior rodent bait stations around the crawl space vents and the utility pipes.
Inside Too
Next, we installed several interior rodent bait stations throughout the crawl space as well as the high activity areas inside the home. Afterward, we stuffed all the gaps around the utility pipes with chew-proof metal mesh and then sealed them with a waterproof adhesive. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up appointments to replenish the bait in the bait stations as needed and to monitor the infestation.
