Photo Album: German Cockroaches Harboring in Kitchen Island in Seaside Park, NJ
The German cockroaches were crawling out of the crevices of this kitchen island in Seaside Park, NJ.
Underneath the Granite
As we inspected the kitchen, we found a large infestation of German cockroaches underneath the granite in the kitchen island.
Time for Treatment
For treatment, we're going to treat this area, as well as the kitchen's baseboards, cracks, and crevices, with an EPA-registered insect growth regulator combined with a residual application. This application affects the cockroaches' reproductive system and prevents them from reaching adulthood.
Knocks Down the German Cockroaches
This treatment will reduce the cockroach population to a manageable level. Next, we applied a knockdown aerosol product to every crack, crevice, appliance, and baseboard throughout the home. This product flushes the cockroaches out of hiding into the growth regulator and rapidly exterminates them.
Several Follow Up Visits
Next, we placed several monitoring devices throughout the home. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and, if necessary, repeat the treatment until the cockroaches are no longer infesting the house.
