Shock at What We Found
After we found some rat droppings around a crawl space vent that was broken, we decided to inspect the area. As soon as we did, we found mold all over the walls and beams...

...and rat droppings in the insulation and throughout the crawl space.
Need a Mold Treatment
We brought this to the owner's attention, who had no idea that she even had a crawl space! We also informed her that our Mold Division can come out (once the rats are gone), remove the mold, and encapsulate the crawl space. We were happy to hear that she called our Contracting Division and made an appointment.
Now for the Rats
For treatment, we carefully cleaned up the rat droppings and installed several rodent bait stations throughout the crawl space, the kitchen, the two adjacent rooms, and along the exterior of the home.
Several Follow Ups
Lastly, we scheduled several follow up visits to monitor the rat activity and replenish the bait stations as needed.
