Photo Album: Carpenter Ants Found During Renovations in Tinton Falls, NJ
Coming from Here
As we began investigating, we saw a plethora of carpenter ants emerging from the cracks in the molding and from two outlets in the room.
Carpenter Ants
Carpenter ants are wood-destroying insects. They are so named because they excavate wood in order to build their nests. Carpenter ants build their nest inside a home, seeking out water-damaged, decaying wood that they can easily excavate. In doing so, they can seriously damage the structure of the home.
Flush
We treated the molding and the outlets with a knockdown aerosol application which will rapidly exterminate the carpenter ants.
Treat the interior & Exterior
We also treated this room, the hallway, and the entire exterior of the home with a liquid residual. When the ants come in contact with this product they'll return to their nest and share this treatment with one another, unknowingly spreading it throughout their entire colony. In a short amount of time, the carpenter ants will be eliminated.
