Photo Album: Odorous House Ants of All Life Stages in Jackson, NJ
Odorous house ants are tiny, fast ants that emit a rotten coconut smell when crushed or startled.
Throughout the Mud Room
When we inspected the area, we found winged and non-winged odorous house and their eggs throughout the mudroom.
Several Cracks in the Window
Turns out there were several gaps in the windows that were allowing the ants to infest the home.
Cleaned and Treated
We cleaned the area and then applied a liquid application to all the cracks, baseboards, and crevices in the mudroom as well as along the entire exterior foundation of the home.
Going Nuts for the Gel Bait
We also applied an ant gel bait directly to their trails. As you can see, the ants love it! We also sealed all the cracks in the window with a waterproof, premium adhesive.
Eliminated Shortly
The odorous house ants will come in contact with either of these products, return to their nest, and share them with each other and their queen. A short while later, they are exterminated.
