Photo Album: Springtails Infesting Jacuzzi in Bedminster, NJ
Apparently, these springtails wanted to soak in this homeowner's jacuzzi.
Under the Jacuzzi
When we opened one of the panels under the jacuzzi, we noticed there was exposed soil from under the slab and a large number of springtails. Springtails are found in areas of high moisture and in organic debris.
The Dishwasher Too
We continued inspecting the home and found a larger infestation behind and inside the dishwasher!
Moisture Control
We removed the springtails and treated the kitchen and behind the dishwasher with a liquid residual.
Under the Jacuzzi
We then treated under the jacuzzi and the master bathroom with the same application.
Dusting Treatment
Lastly, we went outside and treated the cracks in the siding with a residual dusting application. Once the springtails come in contact with any of these treatments, they will be exterminated.
