Photo Album: Health Care Facility Plagued by Bald-Faced Hornets in Somerville, NJ
These bald-faced hornets were located right by the front entrance!
Tucked Away
While inspecting the exterior, I noticed a large number of bald-faced hornets hovering by the front entrance. I took a closer look and found their nest behind the top of the downspout on the soffit.
Highly Dangerous
One very important fact that you must know about bald-faced hornets is that they are EXTREMELY aggressive and will not hesitate to sting anything that invades their space. We grabbed our extendable pole, equipped a knockdown aerosol product to it, and liberally treated the entire nest. Moments later, these stinging insects were eliminated.
Scrubbed Away
After they were exterminated, we equipped a scraper to the extendable pole, removed the nest, and properly disposed of it. Lastly, we treated the area with a residual product to prevent any other stinging insect from building a nest in that area.

Here's a close look at the chambers inside the best.
