Photo Album: Hornets on the Roof and Yellow Jackets in the Ceiling in Princeton, NJ
I was sent out on an emergency call for a homeowner in Princeton, NJ for wasps in his house.
Bald Faced Hornets on the Outside
Before I began inspecting the interior of the home, I discovered an active bald-faced hornets nest hanging from the soffit area.
Coming from the Ceiling
While inspecting the interior, I noticed there was a hole in the ceiling of the living room. As I got closer several yellow jackets come out ready to sting me!
Exterminate These Pests
I injected an aerosol application directly into the ceiling void to eliminate the yellow jackets. While waiting, I went outside, attached the aerosol product to my extendable pole, and injected it into the opening of the bald-faced hornets nest. Moments later, both of these stinging insects were exterminated.
Nest Removed and Wall Sealed
I was able to remove the yellow jacket's nest from the hole and, at the homeowner's request, temporarily seal it up. The owner mentioned that he will patch up the hole himself once he gets back from work. I then removed the bald-faced hornet's nest from the soffit area and properly disposed of it.
