Photo Album: Rat Activity Found in Commercial Building in Freehold, NJ
During a monthly service at a commercial establishment in Freehold, New Jersey, we found evidence of rats in the basement.
Chewed Out
As we were servicing the building, we noticed a section of the drywall that was chewed out. We examined the area and found rat hair and droppings nearby.
A Surprise in the Basement
We decided to inspect the basement and that's when we found an active rat burrow!
R-T-U
We installed several Ready to Use rodent bait stations in the basement. We then went outside and installed several exterior bait stations along the perimeter of the building.
Tracking Powder
We also placed a dusting tracking powder inside the burrow, properly cleaned up the droppings, and then sealed up the wall void with sturdy materials, chew-proof stainless steel mesh, and a waterproof adhesive.
We Shall Return
We will return for several follow-up visits to monitor the rat activity and replenish the bait stations as needed.
