Photo Album: Groundhog Removal in Franklin Park, NJ
After finding a groundhog digging a hole on his property, this homeowner in Franklin Park, NJ, called Little Rascals Nuisance Wildlife Removal for help.
Against the Foundation
As you can see, the groundhog dug a deep burrow against the foundation of the home.
Directly Over the Burrow
In order to safely retrieve the groundhog, we're going to install a nose cone directly over the burrow and attach a two-gaited, heavy-duty device to it.
We Call It a Positive Set
This is what we call a positive set. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the groundhog will enter our device.
Camouflage the Devices
We also placed a baited device nearby and put some dirt on the bottom of each device in order to camouflage them and make the groundhog think that it's walking on the ground.
Soon
Once we safely retrieve the groundhog, we will fill in the burrow and relocate the groundhog to a new, humane environment.
