Photo Album: Home Full of Carpenter Ants in Colts Neck, NJ
This Colts Neck, NJ home had a massive carpenter ant infestation.
Cedar Shake Siding
While inspecting the exterior, I found a large number of carpenter ants trailing along the cedar shake siding.
The Stoop Too
Continuing my inspection, I found even more carpenter ants by the front stoop and near one of the trees in the backyard.
Flushing the Ants Out
I injected a residual aerosol application underneath the siding. This treatment will flush the ants out of hiding and quickly exterminate them.
Liquid Treatment for the Ants
At the request of the homeowner, I treated the first floor rooms, upstairs bathrooms, around window frames, the entire exterior foundation, and around trees in close proximity to the house with a liquid non-repellant residual.
Heavy Duty Treatment
I also treated the base of the trees and the front stoop with a granular bait.
Spreads Throughout the Colony
The ants will come in contact with either of these treatments, return to their nest, and, by grooming or feeding one another, spread the treatments throughout their colony. A short while later, the carpenter ants are neutralized.
