Photo Album: Cockroaches Hiding Behind the Appliances in Neptune, NJ
There was a massive cockroach infestation underneath the stove and fridge.
Yea, That's a Lot
I noticed a few cockroaches were scurrying underneath the stove, so I moved it a bit and came across a massive cockroach infestation.
The Fridge Too
Since cockroaches are known to harbor underneath appliances, I was curious if the infestation was just as intense behind the fridge. So I moved it out of the way and confirmed my suspicion.
Get it All Out
First, I had the owner remove and dispose of all contaminated items. After everything was removed and covered, I applied a non-repellent residual application around the infested areas, cracks, and crevices. The application is an EPA-registered growth regulator that affects the cockroaches' reproduction system so that they can't reproduce. This treatment knocks down the majority of the cockroach population to a more manageable level.
Chase Them Out
Next, I used a microinjection machine that sprays a very fine mist of an oil-based product into the cracks and crevices where the cockroaches may be hiding. What this product does is chase the cockroaches into the growth regulator that was sprayed earlier. After all the infected areas have been treated appropriately, I scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and apply any additional treatments if needed.
