Photo Album: Odorous House Ants Hide Behind Heater in Whiting, NJ
Recently, I was sent out on a service call to a home in Whiting, NJ, to handle an odorous house ant infestation.
From the Heater
Beginning my inspection, I found a large number of odorous house ants trailing from the heater...
Under the Window Sill
...to underneath the window sill. Odorous house ants emit a rotten coconut smell when they're alarmed or crushed.
Royal Flush
I'm going to apply a flushing agent to the cracks in the window sill and to all the baseboards in the living room. This application will flush the ants out of hiding and rapidly exterminate them.
Now for the Residual
Next, I'm going to apply a liquid residual directly to the ant trail, all the baseboards, cracks, and crevices throughout the dining room and the two adjacent rooms, and along the entire exterior of the home.
Sharing the Treatment
Once the odorous house ants come in contact with this treatment, they will bring the application back to their nest and transfer the treatment to one another. Shortly after, they are neutralized.
