This homeowner in Spring Lake, NJ had quite the infestation of ants in his home.
Going in and Out
While we were inspecting, we noticed a trail of ants going in and out behind the refrigerator. We decided to move the fridge to get a closer look.
Sticky Spot Food for Ants
Right away we found scraps of food and a spill of some sort of liquid that was on the floor, which was attracting the ants to the area.
A Small Gap
As we took a closer look we found a tiny gap in the corner of the fridge where the ants were trailing to and from. Now that we found the source and the location of where the ants were coming from, we can begin treating!
Cowleys Ant Treatment
First, we injected an aerosol application into the gap. This treatment will rapidly neutralize the ants. Afterward, we applied an ant gel bait and a liquid residual along the baseboards, cracks, and crevices inside the home. Once we finished, we treated the exterior perimeter with the liquid residual.
Transfer Effect
Once the ants come in contact with either of these treatments, they will bring these treatments back to their nest and share them with one another, which is called the transfer effect. Shortly after, the ants are exterminated.
