Recently, I treated a home in Red Bank, NJ that had a big swarm of termites.
Coming From the Wall
After a thorough inspection, I discovered that the termites were swarming out of a switch plate on the wall!
Termite Swarmers
That's a lot of termite swarmers! Termite swarmers are the winged adult reproductives that leave their current nest to form their own colonies.
Two Ways to Treat for Termites
First, I injected a termiticide foam application into the wall void. This will eliminate all the termites inside the wall.
To Reach the Termites
Then, for an effective termite treatment, I drilled into the concrete slab on the inside of the home...
The Exterior Too
..as well as along the entire exterior perimeter of the home.
Liquid Termiticide
And injected a liquid version of the termiticide directly into the ground so that the termites come into contact with the product.
Termites Exterminated
The termites will then transport either of these treatments back to their underground nest and transfer the treatments among one another. Shortly after, the entire colony is eliminated and the home is protected from termites for many years to come.
