Photo Album: Repairing Roof and Excluding Raccoons in Brick, NJ
Now that we safely removed all the raccoons from this condo in Brick, NJ, we are going to fix the damage that they caused.
That's a Lot of Damage
Now that the raccoons have been safely evicted, it's time to fix the damage they made!
Strong Material
We're using sturdy, metal flashing to cover that hole on the roof. Raccoons, as well as any nuisance wildlife, are unable to chew through or rip apart this material.
Repaired
We then covered the access point and secured it in place with concrete screws and a waterproof, premium adhesive... but we're not done yet.
Blended
We covered the metal flashing with spare shingles that the property manager had as well as asphalt shingle grit so that the repair work blends in with the roof.
