Photo Album: Tenants Find Bed Bugs and Landlord Calls Cowleys in Bradley Beach, NJ
When bed bugs were found in a multi-family home in Bradley Beach, NJ the landlord called us immediately for guidance on what to do next.
That's a Bed Bug Alright
We inspected the apartment in question and found bed bugs in two bedrooms.
Get to Work
We began vacuuming all of the crack and crevice areas where the bed bugs were seen and also vacuumed all of the gaps, cracks, and crevices in the whole room as a preventative measure.
Bed Bug Treatment Step: Two
Once we finished, we installed a new set of mattress and box spring encasements. This would ensure that nothing would get in or out of the mattress and box spring. Next, we installed climb-ups on the feet of the bed which will stop any bed bugs from climbing up the feet of the bed as well as climbing off the bed.
The Final Part of the Process
Lastly, we applied a light liquid application to all the areas where the bed bugs were harboring as well as where they potentially could be harboring. Once this process was finished, we scheduled a follow-up visit to monitor the infestation.
