Photo Album: Indian Meal Moths Found in Farmingdale, NJ
While performing a regularly scheduled service of a business in Farmingdale, NJ, I noticed Indian meal moths on the ceiling of the kitchen pantry.
The Extent of the Infestation
After finding several Indian meal moths in the kitchen pantry, I wanted to determine the extent of the infestation before the area was treated by installing several pheromone lure glue traps inside the pantry.
Attracts the Males
These traps have a female lure that attracts and eliminates the male moths.
Controls the Pantry Pest Problem
This disrupts the Indian meal moths mating and controls the pantry pest problem.
Cleaned and Treated
With permission from the owner, I disposed of the contaminated items, cleaned the area, and applied a residual product to exterminate the moths.
