In the Couch
We inspected the apartment and found the bed bugs in the pullout couch.
Bed Bugs Love Tight Spaces
Bed bugs love to harbor in places where they feel pressure on both sides of their bodies. It's very important to look in all of the seams as well as the gaps and cracks of the furniture and other various wall coverings around the home.
Trusty Vacuum
We grabbed our vacuum and vacuumed up all the live bed bugs and their eggs.
Cover the Couch
Afterward, we then installed a mattress and box spring encasement over the couch. This will help us monitor the bed bug infestation as well as trap them.
The Liquid Treatment
We then applied a liquid application, which will eliminate the bed bugs, to the areas where they were seen and could potentially harbor.

Lastly, we scheduled a follow-up inspection to monitor the infestation and, if needed, apply any additional treatments.
