Photo Album: Home Inspector Finds Yellow Jackets Nest in Wall Township, NJ
During a home inspection at a property in Wall Township, NJ, the homeowner inspector found a yellow jackets nest in the basement
All the Way in The Corner
Upon arrival, I equipped my protective bee suit and began inspecting the area. Within a few moments, I located the nest in the caulking around the spigot pipe entering the foundation.
Pretty Large
The yellow jackets nest was about the size of a basketball and full of these aggressive stinging insects.
From the Back
I treated the nest by poking a hole in the back of it with an aerosol tube and injected a knockdown application. Within a few moments, the yellow jackets will be neutralized.
Removed It
I then removed the nest, disposed of it, and cleaned the area.
After Treatment
After the treatment was completed, I went back outside and sealed the opening around the spigot with a clear, waterproof adhesive.
