Recently, I performed a yellow jacket treatment for a community in Princeton, NJ.
All Set
With my bee suit equipped, I'm ready to inspect!
Hole in the Bedroom
I inspected the interior and found a small hole in the wall of the bedroom that was full of yellow jackets. I investigated the exterior and noticed some activity near the junction box behind the A/C unit.
Live Nest
That's where I found their main nest, inside a small crack behind the junction box!
The Right Tool
I grabbed my duster and injected a residual dust directly into the nest. This will exterminate the yellow jackets almost immediately.
Nest Eradicated
After a few moments passed, I removed the nest, disposed of it, sealed up the opening inside the bedroom, cleaned the area, and sealed up the opening behind the junction box.
