I was sent out on a service call for a homeowner in Matawan, NJ who had repetitive ant sightings by her front door.
Gaps in the Front Door
I inspected the front door and found a massive gathering of odorous house ants. Odorous house ants are tiny black ants that emit a rotten coconut smell when crushed or startled. There appeared to be a wide gap underneath the front door.
Invited Themselves In
With the owners permission, I inspected the inside of the home and found odorous house ants trailing from the front door to the living room.
Flush Out the Smelly Ants
I applied a liquid residual along the entire exterior of the home, then went inside and treated the entranceway and living room. Afterwards, I applied a flushing agent along the gaps in the front door.
Force the Ants Out
This product not only exterminates the ants almost immediately, but forces them out of hiding and into the residual application I applied earlier. The ants that aren't exterminated will go back to their nest and transfer the residual among one another through feeding or grooming. Soon, the entire colony will be exterminated.
Sealing the Tiny Gaps
After finishing treating the home, I sealed all the gaps by the front door and around the home using a premium, waterproof adhesive.
