Photo Album: Ants Ruin BBQ in North Brunswick, NJ
When a client in North Brunswick, NJ was setting up for a barbecue, she noticed several ants all around her pool area. She immediately called Cowley's services to come out and take care of the situation before her guests arrived.
Yards Away
When I arrived, the homeowner showed me exactly where the ants were trailing. I followed their trail from the grill all the way to the other side of the backyard, which was about 100 yards away from the house!
Forage Far and Wide
It's not often that we find an ant trail that long, but when they are out looking for food, they will forage as far as they have to.
Rapidly Remove the Problem
Ants are social pests and they communicate with each other through their pheromones. I applied a liquid non-repellent directly to the ant trail, their nest, and along the entire exterior of the home.
Sharing Their Doom
The ants then share this product with their queen and the other ants in the nest through grooming and feeding one another. Shortly after, the entire colony is exterminated.
